My name is Hans Askov and i'm half way through my masters, working towards a degree in Software Engineering. I'm passionate about Machine learning, fullstack web applications, large distributed systems and much more. In my free time i like to play Volleyball at DSIO as well as going for runs in Munke Mose. August 2019 - Feburary 2023Robotics have tought me the importance of good collaboration, and to have a proactive and solution-focused mindset. As it is necessary to manage unexpected situations that often arise in large-scale projects. For instance, I successfully programmed a UR5 robot to detect, grasp and throw objects with collision detection.
Bachelor thesis in Robotics, Hillerød – Novo Nordisk
September 2022 - February 2023At Novo Nordisk I developed and implemented a pipeline to render synthetically generated images which were used to train two deep learning models for object detection and 6DoF pose estimation for components in a bin. Software Developer, Odense – EFFIMAT
February 2022 – February 2023As a member of the Effimat team, I honed my skills within the field of Internet of Things, by working with data collection and analysis of distributed systems. A website was then developed to show real-time data, which was used to gain insight of their products.

May 2021 - June 2021I worked as an instructor in the SDU event "Mat Spurten" which deals with refreshing 3.g students for the Mathematics A exam. It is a task that requires patience and dissemination of complicated subjects.

January 2019 - June 2019At Coloplast i got Practical work experience with automated production lines for mass production of catheters. This tought me the necessity of reliable and intuitive systems for the end user.
